This project has been a long time on the list, but it’s a personal favorite and we are finally getting going. This is a 1947 Phil Rhodes design Dater class 20′ sloop. She’s in the shop and we’ve removed her bolt on bulb type ballast keel (cutting edge in 1947) and have now removed her stem and ordered the 4″ thick white oak necessary to replace it.
